2. Hosting :- If you were to run a brick-and-mortar store, you would probably be paying a certain landlord a monthly or a yearly rental / leasing fee. In the same manner, you will need to rent a rental fee to a landlord on the net to keep your site running. This landlord on the net is commonly known as a Hosting Company or simply Host. The prices for a hosting companies vary wildly based on various factors including the disk space, bandwidth and all the other confusing factors for a beginner. 3. Web Designer :- Perhaps this step should be the first step. Search on the internet for terms like “web designer” and “web developer”. Although it’s not necessary to get a web designer from your town, it might be a good idea to find one just for consultation purposes. So if you are from Jersey City, New Jersey, you would search for “web designers in Jersey City” or “Jersey City we designers”. Create a list of questions on paper and start calling a couple of webdesigners. By the way, if you accept credit cards in your brick-and-mortar / offline store, it does not mean you can use this for online purposes also. MSP’s usually take about 2 to 4 weeks to provide you a merchant account.
